‘Boa’ is made of one
element of preformed
polyurethane foam,
completely covered in
leather, supported by an
inner shaped-metal
structure.
A leather element,
shaped like an
upside-down saddle, is
attached to the
supporting structure
with hidden steel coils
while the edge ring is
made up of various
pieces of beige and
brown hide.
‘Boa’ allows the body to
sit in an endless number
of positions, thanks to
the variability of its
directional axes and it
can even be used,
overturned, on its lower
side. The “rocking”
aspect is always present
even if it is partly
limited by the way in
which the polyurethane
sags in the points of
contact with the
floor.
