Once the city of Prato's
football team had been
promoted to the superior
division, there was a
need to expand the
Municipal stadium's
capacity. Two new
bleachers were made on
the north side of the
stadium near the central
seating area for a total
of 8,000 new places.
The bearing frame was
made in galvanized steel
while the structures
hosting the seats are in
prestressed concrete.
