The project focused on
an interstitial area
between the river and
the railway line,
completely lacking in
identity and special
connotations. Our
project aimed to confer
a defined and
recognizable form to the
area.
In our design the
differing functions
(offices and workshops)
were united in a single
container whose shape
symbolically recalls the
extruded form of a bent
piece of tubing.
The building is
conceived as colored wth
stripes of yellow and
green which recall the
colors of the Mormon tea
bushes growing along the
slopes of the adjacent
Calvana hillside.
