  Born in Pistoia in 1947, has lived in Prato since 1969.
1967 Graduated with a surveyor's secondary school degree from the Istituto tecnico Pacini  in Pistoia.
1969 Graduated with a secondary school degree in art from the Liceo artistico in Florence.
1967/69 Worked for the studio of engineer Giovanni Lima (with offices in Pistoia, Florence and Milan) as an assistant designer of civil residential housing, low-cost public housing, industrial buildings, plants to treat solid waste.
1970/1977 Worked for the Technical Office of the Municipality of Prato as a 'technical assistant '.
1976 Graduated from the Architecture Department of the University of Florence with highest grades. Thesis on territorial restoration via the application of data processing methodologies.
1974/77 Worked with the Soprintendenza ai Monumenti di Firenze (Florence's Superintendency of Monuments) to compile and publish the Catalogue of Environmental and Architectural Patrimony in the Pistoia Mountain Area.
1977 Placed first in the public competition of degrees and competitive testing  to be awarded the role of Architect for the Municipality of Prato.
1978/79 Architect for Public Building (Sezione Ufficio 27),  Municipality of Prato.
1979 /81 Director of the Private Building Department (Settore 11˚ Building Permits), Municipality of Prato.
1981/2007
Director of the Departmentof Public Works, Municipality of Prato (Settore 14˚ Second-phase Urbanization). From 1995 to 2001 he also directed the extraordinary maintenance of buildings by activating a special service for the regularization of all the municipaqlity structures. In this way Prato became one of the top places in Italy for the quality of its school buildings in the “School Ecosystem 2004” census carried out by the envrionmental group Lega  Ambiente. In 2006 Prato reached the first place in Italy for the quality of its school buildings in the “School Ecosystem 2006” census carried out by the envrionmental group Lega  Ambiente. In 2007, for the second year running, Prato held the first place for the quality of its school buildings in he “School Ecosystem 2007” census carried out by the envrionmental group Lega  Ambiente. The design work done over these recent years has been the subject of the book  “LABORATORIO COMUNE Idee ed architetture  del Settore edilizia Pubblica del Comune di  Prato”  edition 2000-ELECTA -Milan, with a foreword by Leonardo Benevolo.

since 2007 He has worked a freelance architect, participating in national and international competitions.
Awards:
1998 Received the “Merit prize” from the Minister of the Interior Giorgio Napolitano for his work and involvement during the earthquake crisis in Umbria and the Marches in September -October 1997.
2006 Received the ‘Embassador of Europe’ title, from the President of the Tuscan Regional Government Claudio Martini for his full involvement in the Project co-financed by the European Union and the European Fund for Regional Development, Program Doc U.P Objective 2  Tuscany 2000-2006
